Daiso Expendable Folder - magnolia mini stamps storage

I'm not a huge fans of Magnolia Stamps, but I do specially love the Magnolia Mini World doll stamps. There are the most adorable tiny doll stamps ever !!
I've collected a few over time and looking for a nice storage system.

I mentioned before, Daiso is a great store !
I found this small expendable folder and it's perfect for the tiny mini doll images stamps storage.
As usual, I love to deco everything as much as I can, as much as I love.

I've taken a few picture to share with you here.

I adhered the cover with some designed paper from Prima Marketing Sweet Fairy with Ranger Wonder Tape.

Deco with some Prima Marketing Flowers
Use some Wire Thread, Sweet Pink from Prima marketing to form the words " Love".

Die cuts some leaves from Magnolia leaf dies adhere below the flowers and added some bling.

I cut some canvas trim and stamped the alpha " m a g " and adhere with some plain twine.

Stamped and colour one of the Magnolia tiny doll, pasted with form dot, I also applied a layer of Multimedia on top of the image to make the cut out image more durable.

Added a lace trim too.

Here is my finished project.
Hope you like it and happy crafting !

Travelling With Paper Doll From Julie Nutting

I can't remember when I fell in love to doll up my myself and playing with colour. I only remember it was since very young age, I decorated my own bedroom with the colour theme that I love, designed the cover of my books, and I love to doll up myself with all sort of things that I can find from my mum's closet.
I was very stubborn and my mum will never able to convinced me to put on the little girl dress that she thinks it looks good on me lol
Not very long time later, I couldn't get satisfaction for only dolled up myself, so, I dress up my paper doll instead !

I remembered I started copying the dress designs from magazines. I trace it on paper and then coloured, cut and put on my paper doll.
After a while, I'm bored with just colouring the dresses that I copied.
I started to design my own paper doll dresses. I used beads, fabrics, different paper texture, etc... to decorate on the paper dress, or what ever source material that I can find.
I collected all the dresses and kept all in a metal biscuit tin container, so that I can bring it with me everywhere I go :D
These is my number one favourite thing to do, one and only loved toys during my childhood time.

My love of designing, colouring paper doll and dresses never fade away till I started working :D
I started colouring my face, wearing all kind of makeup and then I'm also attempt to colour others faces and ended up I'm also a makeup artist in my work life.

When I saw Prima Marketing Paper Doll designed by Julie Nutting, I knew I'm gonna go crazy !!

Here is some of the dolls with my designed dresses :

I designed a suitcase from scratch, using chipboard and my all time favourite designed paper from Prima Marketing "Something Blue" paper collection.

The fishtail banner created using  Avery Elle doted dies.

Create some pockets to store my journaling and some tags.

Decorated with some trims and sim binding from my stash that I collected over the times.

Added some pearl trim.

I use some trim and paper flower from Prima Marketing to decorated the dress.

And some vintage lace.

And store them in the suitcase instead of a biscuit metal tin container.

These is a little part of my paper doll for now, will definitely try to do more when ever I'm able to find time.
If you are like me, so in love with paper doll ? stay tune for more upcoming dolls.

Happy crafting !

Shabby "Cake" Storage

Beside crafting, I'm also very much in love with baking.
I'm not an expert baker but the fun of decorating the cake with icing and fondant is un resistible to me.

Life is so in the way that occupied most of my time daily, barely have time to allowed me to stay in kitchen to bake and play, but I've a better idea to divert my fun of cake decorating on paper crafting so that I can deco my "cake" without a kitchen !

Here is what I did.
First, I collected a few different sizes of empty round gift boxes.
I decided to just use 2 pieces.
Using my all time favourite designed paper covered the entire box inside out.

Tons of laces and trims, mostly from my all time favourite Prima Marketing Trims and Laces

Added many resin embellishments from Prima Marketing Embellishments

Some embellishments from Webster Page

Lots of beautiful flowers are mixture of Prima Marketing Mulberry Flowers and my stash that I've collected over the times.

Are you happy with my "Cake" ?
Your precious comments are always welcome.

Happy Crafting !

Shabby Turnable Craft Caddy

I love working with great tools.
Buying and hunting a great useful crafting tools is a must for me, over times in my crafting life, I have accumulated many wonderful tools.

Storing and organising tools are always my first priority and important to me before I start to create something wonderful.
Not only the storage system and organisation, but looking good, beautiful and practical is also equally important to me :)

I found a KaiserCraft Craft Caddy, so excited !
Here is what I did :

I'm using my all time favourite designed paper from Prima Marketing.
For this caddy, I'm using the beautiful "Delight" A4 paper pad collection.
Embellishments and trims are from my stash that I collected over the times.

The pink bicycle charm is so adorable.

Thanks for dropping by and hope you like what I created and shared.

Happy crafting !

Shabby Pocket Watch

I love dress form, love sewing although I don't sew very well.
Love to collect everything related to sewing, from buttons, trims, laces, fabrics, etc....
I went shopping today, an inspiration and light bulb popped in my mind when I passed by a window display, the vintage dress form displayed in the window is to die for.

Here is what I created :

Layered a few on top of each other to give it a depth, adhere one circle die cut to be the base.
Decorated with Prima Marketing trims, pearls and embellishment....
Tied some tule and eyelash yarn for the feminine shabby look.

Hope you like it and happy crafting !

Mini 2 doors "Cabinet".

I love Daiso, a Japanese chain store that sell every single item at SGD 2, from kitchen house hold to stationary, skin care and toys etc....
If you have a brilliant brain and innovative ideas, you will find lots of stuff from the store and with your crafty hands, turns to an amazing good useful item or a piece of art !

Here is what I found :

4 pieces long wooden boxes and 2 pieces of 5R wooden white photo frame.

Stacked them like in the pic showed.
Covered with designed paper, I did some white wash with white acrylic paint around the edge to tone done the colour and make it more shabby looking.
Trims, flowers, metal gate and ornate frame are from Prima Marketing, crochet doily and laces are from my stash that I had it some times ago.
Added a mini hinges on the side of the frame, and wooden knob as a drawer handle.

I added some tiny flowers at the corner and inside the drawer.

Hope you like it and wish you get some inspiration to make your own.

Happy crafting !
